BurnClub ("we", "us") turns Instagram and TikTok profiles into playlists. This policy explains what information we handle when you use the BurnClub app and website, and how we treat it.
Information we collect
- Account information. When you sign in with Apple or connect your Spotify account, we receive basic profile details such as your name, email address, and Spotify user ID.
- Profiles you look up. Instagram or TikTok usernames you enter are used to generate playlists. We only access publicly available profile information.
- Usage data. We collect basic analytics about how the app is used (such as features accessed and crashes) to improve the experience.
How we use your information
- To create and save playlists to your connected Spotify account.
- To operate, maintain, and improve BurnClub.
- To communicate with you about your account or updates to the service.
What we don't do
We do not sell your personal information. We do not post to your social or Spotify accounts without your action, and we never store your Instagram or TikTok passwords — BurnClub only reads publicly available profile content.
Third-party services
BurnClub relies on third-party platforms, including Spotify, Apple, Instagram, and TikTok. Your use of those platforms is governed by their own privacy policies, and we encourage you to review them.
Data retention & deletion
We keep your account data only as long as you have an account. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us, and we will remove it within 30 days.
Children
BurnClub is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app.
